American Window Film Employee Spotlight

This month, we’re shining the spotlight on Brian Chuey, our dedicated Operations Manager in Boston. Brian has been a valued member of American Window Film for 11 years, joining the team back in November 2014. Over the past decade, Brian has become a true “jack of all trades” in the window film industry, mastering nearly every facet of the business.

When Brian first began his journey at AWF, he dove headfirst into learning all he could about the industry, from installing film to estimating jobs and reading plans on the sales side. Over time, his role expanded to include participating in high-level client meetings, building relationships with customers nationwide, managing national operations, and handling the day-to-day flow of scheduling, invoicing, and office management.

What truly sets Brian apart is his willingness to share what he’s learned. Remembering how much there was to learn when he first started, he now takes pride in mentoring others who are new to the industry. “If I can teach them one or two things that will make their office run smoother and more efficiently, that’s a good day,” he says. His well-rounded experience gives him a unique perspective and makes him an invaluable resource to his colleagues.

When asked what he loves most about working at AWF, Brian doesn’t hesitate: “The people.” He values the collaboration and positivity that fills each day, even if most connections are made through a computer screen. “Every employee I connect with always has a smile on their face and is excited to be working for AWF,” he shares. “The culture that has been created here is truly unique and unheard of in today’s day and age. They truly value their employees, and that makes it fun to come to work each and every day.”

Outside of work, Brian keeps busy pursuing his passions. He enjoys golfing with friends, traveling to sporting events, coaching high school basketball, and umpiring. A true sports enthusiast, Brian is a loyal fan of the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics, and his favorite team, the Providence College Friars. He’s held season tickets to Providence basketball for years and looks forward to March Madness every season.

When it comes to company perks, Brian’s favorite is Friends and Family Day. He’s used it to treat friends to golf outings and dinners, always happy to say, “This one’s on AWF!” He laughs that his friends are often jealous, saying they wish their companies offered something similar. “This is what makes AWF so unique and fun to be a part of,” Brian says. “AWF is truly a great place to work. I look forward to continuing to grow in this company and being part of the AWF team for years to come.”
