This month, we’re excited to spotlight John Bell, who joined American Window Film in August 2022 following the acquisition of Brower Tinting & Graphics near Seattle. With a career that began in 1984, installing his first piece of film, 3M P18 silver, John brings over 40 years of industry experience to his role as Graphics Manager.
John spent 25 years at Brower before transitioning to AWF, and his long tenure reflects a deep commitment to the field. At AWF, he oversees graphic production and installation coordination, ensuring that projects are completed with precision and creativity.
What stands out most to John about AWF is the people and the culture. “Everyone I deal with on a regular basis is positive, pleasant, and cooperative,” he says. “Not to sound cheesy, but it really does feel like a family to me. I’m happy to be a part of it."
Outside of work, John enjoys tackling home improvement projects and cherishing time with his family whenever their busy schedules allow. He also makes time for music, which remains a meaningful part of his life. John has been playing drums in cover bands for over 45 years, performing everything from Merle Haggard to Led Zeppelin! A standout memory from his music career is performing in front of a crowd of 5,000 at a city festival in the 1980s, an unforgettable moment that still stands out decades later.
When it comes to company perks, John appreciates the simple things that bring the team together. He looks forward to the Seattle office’s monthly Thursday lunches, where the team gathers at Jasmine Mongolian Grill to enjoy a good meal and great company.
John’s dedication, talent, and upbeat spirit are part of what makes the AWF culture so special, and we’re lucky to have him on the team!
