American Window Film Employee Spotlight

This month, we’re excited to spotlight Dennis, who joined American Window Film in January 2025. With over 40 years of experience in the window film industry, Dennis brings a wealth of knowledge, skill, and dedication to our team.

Dennis began his career in 1984 at Sundown Window Tinting in Riverside, CA. Since then, his journey has included roles as an Automotive Manager, business owner of two tinting shops in Temecula, and a manufacturer and distributor representative for industry leaders like Solar Gard, Hanita Tek/Avery Dennison, Eastman, and Interwest/3M. Now, as American Window Film’s Products and Training Manager, Dennis shares his deep industry knowledge and supports the team’s growth and development.

Having worked alongside CEO Matt Darienzo and the American Window Film team in previous roles, Dennis was already familiar with AWF’s culture before joining. What stood out most to him was the communication and collaboration. He also appreciates how many former owners have stayed with the company.
Outside of work, Dennis and his wife enjoy weekend day hikes, often heading out in their 1992 Jeep Wrangler to explore trails across Southern California. He’s a proud father of four (three daughters and a son) and a grandfather to five, all living nearby. With his wife homeschooling the youngest grandchild, family life is always busy and fulfilling. He also enjoys yard work, taking care of a koi pond, and keeping his Jeep trail-ready.

Though still new to AWF, he’s looking forward to using some of the company’s perks, especially Friends & Family Day, which he plans to spend at the San Diego Wild Animal Park. He’s also excited about the opportunity to connect more with teammates through future company events and team-building activities.
