American Window Film is excited to feature Billy Sterling in our January Employee Spotlight! Billy has been a valuable part of the team for a year, celebrating his anniversary on November 30, which also happens to be his birthday.
As the Regional Sales Director, Billy plays a key role in supporting the company’s Northeastern offices, which include Boston, New York, Washington D.C., and Grand Rapids. His leadership and expertise help drive growth and success across these regions.
One of the aspects Billy enjoys most about working at American Window Film is the incredible team. The company’s strong values are reflected in its leadership, decision-making, and collaborative culture. Billy appreciates the professionalism, passion, and positive energy that his colleagues bring to their work every day and feels grateful to be part of such a dynamic and supportive team.
Outside of work, Billy is passionate about music. In his 20s, he was a full-time musician, touring clubs and colleges as a bassist in a Dave Matthews tribute band. Today, he continues to pursue his love for music by playing acoustic and electric guitar, bass guitar, and drums, as well as singing. He also performs live on weekends and writes and records his own songs in his home studio.
Billy recently took advantage of American Window Film’s "Friends and Family" perk to go on a memorable road trip with his dad and brother. Their journey took them to the Bob Dylan Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma—a dream destination for his father, a lifelong Bob Dylan fan. Thanks to this benefit, they were able to share an unforgettable experience together, with the company even covering their hotel stay.
